What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice based on the idea that blockage and disturbances in the flow of the body’s life energy can cause health issues. Acupuncturists insert thin needles into specific points throughout the body to balance the body’s energy and stimulate healing to promote relaxation.

This varies from person to person some people may feel a strong sting, pain, or ache, and some may not. we use 10 to 20 needles depending on the patient’s problem we will leave the needles in the patient’s body for 15 to 20 minutes. Different points need the needles to be inserted at different depths.

Absolutely yes, it is safe there are no side effects as we use disposable needles and licensed acupuncturists. This eliminates the possibility of transmitting a communicable disease by a contaminated needle.
